Question 1

How does the process work?

Accepted Answer

I start with a free survey to see exactly what your chimney needs, whether that's a routine sweep or a closer inspection. Once I know what's involved, I give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins.

Question 2

How much does a chimney sweep or repair cost?

Accepted Answer

Every job is quoted after a free survey, since chimneys vary a lot in condition and access. You'll always get a fixed written quote before I start, so there are no surprises later.

Question 3

Are you insured and is the work guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I'm fully insured and stand behind every job with a workmanship guarantee. You can expect the work to be done properly and to have peace of mind afterwards.

Question 4

How long does a chimney sweep or repair take?

Accepted Answer

A standard sweep usually takes under an hour. Repairs vary depending on what needs doing, and I'll give you a realistic timeframe once I've had a proper look and quoted the job.

Question 5

How do I know what's actually wrong with my chimney?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly what the free survey is for. I inspect the chimney properly, inside and out where needed, and explain what I find in plain terms rather than guessing at the problem.

Question 6

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

I cover Charleston and the surrounding area, including Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, James Island, Summerville and nearby towns. Get in touch to check I cover your address.
