I start with a free survey to see exactly what's happening and where the moisture is coming from. From there I explain what I've found, give you a fixed written quote, and get to work controlling and drying the affected area properly.
Do you give fixed quotes, or is it charged by the hour?
Every job gets a fixed written quote after the survey, so you know the cost upfront before any work begins. There are no surprise charges once the job is agreed.
Are you insured and is the work guaranteed?
Yes, I'm fully insured and stand behind my workmanship. If something isn't right after the job, I'll come back and sort it.
How long does water damage restoration or damp treatment take?
It depends on the extent of the damage - a contained leak might take a day or two, while a larger flood or persistent damp problem can take longer to dry and treat fully. I'll give you a realistic timeline after the survey.
How do I know you've found the real cause, not just treated the symptom?
I check every inch of the affected area, including behind walls and under flooring where moisture likes to hide, and I explain exactly what I find. I'd rather take the extra time than send you away with a problem that resurfaces in a few weeks.
