Crepe myrtles and hollies are two of the trees Francisco gets called out for most, usually because they've been left to grow untouched for a season or two and are pushing into a roofline or blocking a window. He prunes to the shape the tree should have rather than just cutting back the top, and takes out dead or crossing limbs while he's up there.
Hedges get the same treatment - height brought down, sides squared off, and anything overgrown or leggy cut back hard enough to thicken back up. All the cuttings are raked and hauled off before he leaves, so there's no green waste left sitting on the lawn.

Francisco and his crew did an exceptional job. We had a small tree and a shrub that needed removing, two small stumps, trimming of our very tall crepe myrtles and holly trees, English ivy removal, weeding, cleaning up of flower beds in front and back yard, and more. They cleaned up everything so well that the only way you could tell they were there was because the yard looked so great. They were very fast, prompt, reasonably-priced, and professional. I very much enjoyed working with Acorn, and I will definitely call on them in the future. I cannot recommend them enough.
I would like to comment on the recent work performed by Acorn Tree & Shrub Services. They removed three large trees and did so skillfully, taking great care to avoid damage to surrounding trees and shrubs. Francisco was easy to work with and paid close attention to detail, ensuring everything was addressed, from protecting the lawn to thoroughly cleaning up afterward. His pricing was reasonable, and I would confidently hire him again for future work.
Francisco and his team were excellent! A big tree of mine fell over in a storm recently. They removed the fallen tree, a nearby damaged tree, the stump, and even cleaned up some broken limbs from neighboring trees. They were extremely coordinated, brought all the right equipment, and were done in less than an hour. I'd recommend these guys anytime!
