I've built Empire Pools & Hot Tubs around doing the basics properly: good chemicals, honest advice, and water testing you can actually rely on. People come in not trusting their own readings, which is exactly why I test for free, as often as they need it, so there's no guesswork in what they're putting in their water.
When a hot tub breaks down it's rarely convenient, and sometimes it's a genuine crisis, I've gone out and repaired spas in the middle of February when someone's system had failed and they needed it sorted properly, not patched over.
Whether someone's after supplies, a repair, or just a second opinion on their water, I treat every customer the same way: test it properly, tell them the truth about what it needs, and back the work with real knowledge rather than a sales script.
