CCTV Inspections
CCTV Inspections in Guildford
A camera on a rod run up the flue to check for cracks, blockages or damage the eye can't reach.
I feed a camera up the flue on a rod to see the full length of it, not just what's visible from the fireplace or the pot. It picks up cracked liners, gaps in brickwork, debris or nesting material that a standard sweep or a torch from below would miss.
I'll show you what the camera's picking up as I go, and explain in plain terms what I'm seeing and whether it matters. If there's a problem, you get a clear picture of what it is before any work is agreed.
What's included
- Camera survey of the full flue length
- Recorded footage of the inspection
- Cracks, gaps and blockages identified
- Findings explained in plain terms
- Advice on any repairs needed
