Pre-Sale Chimney Checks
Pre-Sale Chimney Checks in Guildford
A sweep and inspection of the chimney and flue ahead of a sale, purchase or let.
If you're buying, selling or letting a property, I'll sweep and inspect the chimney so you know exactly what condition it's in before anything's agreed. It covers the same ground as a routine sweep, with a proper look at the flue's condition on top.
You get a written summary of what I've found, which is useful for solicitors, landlords or your own peace of mind. If there's a problem I'll explain what it is and what it would mean to put right.
What's included
- Full sweep of the flue
- Visual and camera check of condition
- Written summary of findings
- Advice for buyers, sellers or landlords
- Certificate issued on completion
