Design & Layout Planning
Design & Layout Planning in Nashville
Layout, finish and material selections worked out with you before construction starts, based on your property and how you use it.
Before anything is excavated, I sit down with you on layout, where the pool sits on the property, how it relates to the house, and how it'll actually get used day to day. Finish, tile, coping and decking selections get worked through at this stage so there are no surprises once construction starts.
Every property is different, and older or historic homes especially need the pool and its surrounds to fit what's already there rather than fighting it. Equipment placement and landscaping tie-in get planned alongside the pool itself, not left as an afterthought once construction is underway.
Customers repeatedly mention JR spending real time with them on selections and layout, treating it as a genuine planning conversation rather than a sales call before handing the project off.

We are absolutely delighted with and highly recommend JR’s Pool Company! They renovated our first pool in Nashville 8 years ago from start to finish and recently renovated a second pool at our historic home in downtown Franklin. In both renovations, from our very first meeting to the final walkthrough, the entire team was professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with.
We’ve heard plenty of horror stories from friends who’ve built pools, contractor headaches, unresolved issues, finger-pointing. We had none of that. From start to finish, JR’s team were truly professional, communicative, and easy to work with. On the rare occasion something came up, they addressed it immediately and went above and beyond on warranty work without hesitation.
ALL his staff are exceptionally hard working, trustworthy and treat your property with respect. JR spends much time with his clients and gives the "personal touch" with selections and communication. He builds a solid pool from start to finish.(takes the extra steps) Honestly, you can't go wrong with hiring JR Pools for your pool project. He spends so much time with you as well as several on his crew that they become family by the end.
