New Pool Construction
New Pool Construction in Nashville
Gunite pools built from the ground up, excavation, steel, shotcrete, decking and equipment, managed under one crew.
A new pool build starts with excavation and grading, then steel rebar goes in to form the shell before gunite is shot to shape the structure. From there it's tile, coping, and decking, followed by the plumbing, pumps and filtration that make the pool actually run. I stay on the job through each stage rather than handing it off between separate crews for shell, plaster and equipment.
Selections for finish, tile and decking get decided with you before anything is poured, so the pool matches the house and the way you'll actually use it. Once the shell, decking and equipment are in, the pool gets started up and the water balanced before you swim in it for the first time.
Customers building a pool for the first time repeatedly mention avoiding the contractor headaches and finger-pointing they'd heard about from friends, with clear communication from the first meeting through completion.

We are absolutely delighted with and highly recommend JR’s Pool Company! They renovated our first pool in Nashville 8 years ago from start to finish and recently renovated a second pool at our historic home in downtown Franklin. In both renovations, from our very first meeting to the final walkthrough, the entire team was professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with.
We’ve heard plenty of horror stories from friends who’ve built pools, contractor headaches, unresolved issues, finger-pointing. We had none of that. From start to finish, JR’s team were truly professional, communicative, and easy to work with. On the rare occasion something came up, they addressed it immediately and went above and beyond on warranty work without hesitation.
ALL his staff are exceptionally hard working, trustworthy and treat your property with respect. JR spends much time with his clients and gives the "personal touch" with selections and communication. He builds a solid pool from start to finish.(takes the extra steps) Honestly, you can't go wrong with hiring JR Pools for your pool project. He spends so much time with you as well as several on his crew that they become family by the end.
