Garden landscaping usually starts with clearing what's there, overgrown planting, old paving, anything that's not staying, before the ground can be levelled and graded properly. From there I build up the new layout, whether that's paved areas, borders, or a mix of hard and soft landscaping to suit how the garden's actually used.
I finish by preparing any turf or planting areas so they're ready to go straight in, and clear the site fully once the work's done. It's the same approach whether it's a full garden makeover or one overlooked corner that needs sorting.
